Bible Study

Verse of the Week

  • Psalm 28:7 (New Living Translation)
    "The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving."

Husband Encouragement

  • Be kind even when I feel bad (which is often with my job and the busy summer schedule it entails).
  • Thank him often for all his help.
  • Send him love notes.
  • Pray for him and his daily interactions at work.
  • Pray for him to have a close, growing relationship with Jesus.
  • Pray for him to have wisdom as he leads our family.
  • Bake him a cake.
  • Dress up really special for him for our 10 month anniversary.

Personal Goals

  • Find my joy in the Lord.
  • Find rest & balance.
Work Goals


  • Finish staff evaluations.
  • Read stories to kids with enthusiasm. Enjoy that part of the job... my favorite part... the part I love. Don't let the other parts of the job ruin that for me.
  • Leave Work at Work.
  • Keep up with statistics daily.

Sunday - leftovers, hubby make his own special scrambled burger recipe
Monday - Bacon rapped baked chicken, tomato couscous salad, & creamed spinach
Tuesday - TGIF for 10 month anniversary!
Wednesday - Parmesan Baked Chicken, Cheese Grits, & Broccoli
Thursday - Pan Seared Steak, Sweet Potato fries, & green beans
Friday - date night
Saturday - Mom & Dad's
Snack of the Week: Peanut Butter Energy Bars with raisins
Dessert of the Week: Chocolate Peanut-Butter Chocolate Chip Cake with a Powder Sugar dusting as frosting
