Monday Meanderings... February 14, 2011

Happy Valentine's Day! My Love and I started celebrating this past weekend, and we plan to celebrate all week. He is just the greatest, most romantic man I know. I love him dearly. This week marks the two year anniversary of the day he ask me to marry him and our eighteenth month married. God is GREAT. All the time God is Great! Thank you LORD for my dear husband, My Love.

Verse of Week...
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” - John 13:34-35

Bible Study...

* What Makes a Man Feel Loved/ Barnes, Bob
* In the Eye of the Storm/ Lucado, Max

Husband Encouragement...
* Work on being feminine. Bob Barnes defines this as being soft or speaking softly (not harsh or demanding) and having an inner peace. He says this comes from our walk with the LORD and an assurance that God is in control. He says this greatly blesses husbands.
* Don't be independent. Need him.
* Pray for him at least three times daily.
* Pamper myself in an attempt to be more attractive for him.
* Admiration - Bob Barnes says he needs this. Work on purposefully giving it.

Personal Goals...
* Press on with "7 in 2011" plan.
* Find at least one thing to look forward to EACH day.
* Pamper self some each day.

Work Goals...
* Complete an evaluation.
* Finish at least one report that I'm behind on.
* Improve communications.

New Habit of the Month...
I give myself permission now to not be perfect this next week. Pressing on is the goal, not perfection.
